Job Title: Workshop Administrator
Location: Dukinfield
Salary: £24,375
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Benefits: Enrolment on Simplyhealth Scheme after 3 months service – Approx £550 worth in benefits if used – plus mental health and well-being support
Auto enrolment on company pension scheme, 5% employee / 3% employer
Monthly payroll
Half year and end of year bonus* (*discretionary, OTE £600 each period)

Join Our Team as a Workshop Administrator
Working closely with the Depot Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our commercial vehicle workshop delivers top-notch service, meets performance targets, and exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Administrator

    • Creating and updating job cards with precision
    • Logging fitter job times from clock cards
    • Booking out parts accurately and returning unused items promptly
    • Processing purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency
    • Communicating with customers to schedule work and provide updates
    • Handling queries and calls with professionalism and a friendly attitude
    • Supporting the team with estimates and authorisations when needed

Experience required for the Workshop Administrator

    • Previous experience in a commercial vehicle workshop or depot environment preferred but not essential
    • Knowledge of HGV’s would be a bonus
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong IT and communication skills and a customer-first mindset
    • Ability to remain organised and calm in a busy environment
