Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and professional Online Chat Moderators to join our growing remote workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, moderating, and responding to online chat interactions across our digital platforms to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging user experience. This is a fully remote position, ideal for individuals who are comfortable working online, have strong communication skills, and can maintain professionalism in fast-paced virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live chat rooms, forums, and messaging platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and company policies

  • Respond to user inquiries and messages in a timely, polite, and professional manner

  • Identify, flag, and take appropriate action on inappropriate, abusive, or suspicious content

  • Enforce chat rules consistently while maintaining a positive and welcoming environment

  • Escalate complex issues or violations to senior moderators or support teams when necessary

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, warnings, and actions taken

  • Collaborate with other moderators and support staff to improve moderation processes

  • Stay updated on policy changes, platform updates, and moderation best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills in English

  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
